This notice supplements the general Privacy Policy with details specific to this chat application.
1. Data we process
- Account data: Email address and user name (via Supabase Auth)
- Chat content: Everything you type into the Application
- Conversation history: Saved chat sessions with timestamps
- File uploads: Attachments you upload and their metadata
- Usage statistics: Information about the models used and frequency of use
2. Purpose of processing
- Provide the chat functionality
- Save and restore conversation history
- User authentication and management
- Improve performance and user experience
- Technical maintenance and troubleshooting
3. Legal basis
We process your personal data in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. In particular, data is processed (a) to perform the service you request and (b) to pursue our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Application while protecting your fundamental rights.
4. Storage & Security
Supabase (database & auth)
- Servers located in the EU (GDPR-compliant)
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Strict authentication and authorization rules
5. Retention period
- Conversation history: Until you delete it or delete your account
- Account data: Until you delete your account
- File uploads: Until you manually delete them or delete your account
- Log data: Up to 30 days for technical reasons
6. Cookies & Local Storage
The Application uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and remember basic UI settings. They cannot be disabled.
7. Your rights
In addition to your rights under the main Privacy Policy you can:
- Export all of your conversation history
- Delete individual chats
- Delete your entire account and all data
